Overview:

ISTA 6-SAMSCLUB is a simulation test for unitized loads shipped through Sam’s Club distribution system to final destinations in the United States. This project utilizes general simulation of actual transport hazards by ground on unitized loads with four variations of shipment methods, Type A – Type D. Purple Diamond Testing offers ISTA 6-SAMSCLUB Testing as part of our packaging distribution testing services.

Rationale:

ISTA 6-SAMSCLUB – Packaged-Products for Sam’s Club® Distribution System Shipment. Can be used to evaluate the protective performance of a unitized load related to thermal conditions, shocks, static compression, random vibration, and other stressors normally encountered in Sam’s Club distribution system. The procedure is used to create general simulation hazards in a laboratory environment that is 100% repeatable. This project is used to help vendors certify and become compliant to packaging requirements for Sam’s Club®.
